Some options for break time are...
  • Stay in form class depending on weather conditions .
  • Use the playground to play games or walk around .
  • Buy food and eat your food in the tuck shop if you want. 
  • Play games on your device in the phone zone or your form room. 
  • Hang out with your friends around school.

Swim Gala

SWIM GALA Once every year, the senior school PE department hosts a swim gala. This is where the 4 houses (Falcon, Osprey, Kestrel and Merlin) have representatives who swim competitively against the other houses to collect as many points as possible for their house. In the end, the house with the most points wins a trophy.  The events in the swim gala consist of: 50m Freestyle 25m Freestyle 25m Butterfly 50m Backstroke 25m Backstroke 50m Breaststroke  25m Breaststroke  Only 2 boys and 2 girls from each house in year 7 can compete in each event, but you can be a reserve: if a person doesn't show up, you will compete for them.  House relays also are events that you can sign up for. The best boy and girl from each year group get together with the swimmers from the other year groups and compete with the other 3 houses. At the end of each event, medals are given out to 3rd, 2nd and 1st.
